PT and DOR at Lawrence County Hospital and Outpatient Rehab
Jack Douglas, PT and DOR at Lawrence County Hospital and Outpatient Rehab, was born and raised in South Jackson. He moved to the Byram area after getting married, and then moved to Simpson County in 2009 where he still lives. He and his wife, Scotti, have two daughters, Jaylea (17) and Olivia (13).
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1999. After graduating from USM, he went straight into PT school at University Medical Center and graduated in 2001, and then began his first job at UMC. He then moved to Louisiana in 2002 to work with his sister at an acute rehab center, where he met a co-worker who was working weekends for The Summit in the Winnsboro area. In February 2003, he, too, started working weekends for The Summit and then went full time shortly thereafter and has been with The Summit for 13 years! He has been full-time at Lawrence County Hospital for almost 9 years now. He says, “I am so very blessed to be here. I have a great co-worker (there is only one, Jennifer Smith) and a wonderful hospital staff.”
In his spare time, Jack enjoys hunting, fishing, and yard work. However, most of his free time over the last several years has been spent at the ball park. Olivia plays travel softball and it is nonstop, 12 months a year.
