Treatment Philosophy:

The Partial Hospitalization Program is designed as an alternative to inpatient treatment or a step down from inpatient hospitalization. It assists adults and their families in understanding and learning to cope with mental, emotional and behavioral problems.

The goal is to work with your hospital to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary treatment to patients in order to achieve their optimal levels of functioning while improving quality of life.

The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to serve patients that no longer need the intensity of the PHP or to serve patients that do not require more than 11 hours of therapy a week but would likely require inpatient if left at a lower level of care such as traditional outpatient treatment.

Signs and symptoms may include:

• Withdrawal from family and friends
• Depression
• Sadness
• Personality changes
• Unexplained physical ailments
• Changes in eating habits
• Changes in sleeping patterns
• Confusion and difficulty with concentration
• Fears and anxieties
• Hallucinations, hearing voices
• Inability to cope with daily life
