Teresa Lomax is a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and has worked in some capacity with The Summit Health & Rehab since its establishment in 2001. She has served as The Summit’s Agency Administrator and Outpatient Clinic Director since January of 2010. With over 38 years’ experience, Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master of Education degree with a specialty in Communication Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University, and is a two time recipient of the ACE award for continuing education from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Most recently, in response to growing community need, she completed a 48 hour graduate level course to become a Qualified Dyslexia Consultant.
Teresa and her husband, Barry, are blessed with two daughters and two grandchildren. They have made Summit their home since 1996 and are active members of New Heights Baptist Church, where Teresa enjoys singing in the choir and being a substitute Bible Study teacher. She also enjoys participating in the Pike County Little Theater.
